My why...
I love Yoga because it compliments and aids the mindfulness I try to cultivate in my life.
Despite this being my primary reason for starting a consistent regular practise I was further inspired by the way the physical aspect can help us find a more optimal balance for our bodies.
Yoga and other researched backed technqiues can help to keep these human bodies of ours moving and functioning in a more optimal way.
What to expect....
A 60 minute welcoming class, no equipment needed. We move through postures slowly and mindfully. Incoporating movements and sequences that help increase range of motion, strength and flexibility. I sometimes include some relevant myofascial release work. Open to all levels from beginner to a more seasoned practitioner.
"I felt quite nervous about beginning a Yoga class as I have arthirits and was worried I would struggle and be embarrassed. However when I attended Starlet Yoga, Kelly was so lovely and made sure all the movements were explained and I felt at ease. The class was really welcoming and I have benefitted a lot from going both mentally and physically. I would recommend anyone give it a try."
"The classes are done at a level that suits me and are very relaxing and calm, as well as a good workout. I've really enjoyed every session and look foward to going."
"I've only recently moved to the area but as an unfit, retired person. I have been delighted at the way Kelly gently takes us through the positions, in such a lovely and calm atmosphere too. I've never done Yoga before but now I can."
"Relaxed atmosphere, lovely way of explaining and putting me at ease with all the poses. Highly recommend Kelly and look forward to attending her classes again when lockdown ends""
